Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.
Slice the halloumi into thick fry-shaped strips.
Pat the strips dry with kitchen paper.
Brush lightly with the olive oil.
Mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cracked black pepper, then coat the halloumi evenly.
Arrange the halloumi fries in a single layer inside the air fryer basket.
Cook for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown with crisp edges.
Meanwhile, whisk together the BBQ sauce, hot honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and apple cider
vinegar.
Transfer the cooked halloumi into a bowl and gently toss through the BBQ glaze until evenly coated.
Return to the air fryer for a final 2–3 minutes until the glaze becomes sticky and lightly caramelised.
Finish with spring onions, chopped parsley, and any optional toppings if using.
Serve immediately with garlic mayo, sweet chilli sauce, or lime wedges alongside.
