Air-Fryer Brie & Bacon Christmas Parcels

This is festive party food at its absolute peak. Melting Brie. Crispy bacon. Golden puff pastry. A little cranberry sweetness. The sort of thing that.

You’ll Need

1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
150g Brie, cut into 12 cubes
6 rashers streaky bacon, cooked and chopped
2 tbsp cranberry sauce
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp dried thyme
Black pepper

Optional But Dangerous
Extra Brie
Honey drizzle
Chopped walnuts

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 180°C.

Unroll the puff pastry onto a board.

Cut into 12 equal squares.

Place a cube of Brie into the centre of each square.

Top with a little chopped bacon.

Add a small teaspoon of cranberry sauce.

Sprinkle lightly with thyme and black pepper.

Fold the corners of the pastry towards the centre and pinch gently to create parcels.

Brush the tops with beaten egg.

Place the parcels into the air fryer basket with space between them.

Air fry at 180°C for 8–10 minutes until puffed, golden, and beautifully crisp.

Remove carefully and allow them to sit for 2 minutes before serving.

Serve warm while the Brie is still gloriously molten.

Lad Tip: These are at their most dangerous roughly two minutes after leaving the fryer. That's the sweet spot where the pastry is crisp, the bacon is smoky, and the Brie stops behaving like volcanic lava. If one leaks cheese onto the tray, that's the one you eat first.
