You’ll Need
600g chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized chunks
8 rashers streaky bacon, cut into halves
2 tbsp cranberry sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
Wooden skewers
Optional But Dangerous
Extra cranberry glaze
Pigs in blankets on the side
Honey mustard dip
Method
Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.
In a bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, thyme, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Add the chicken and coat thoroughly.
Thread the chicken onto skewers, folding pieces of bacon between some of the chicken chunks as you build each skewer.
Place the skewers into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry at 200°C for 12–14 minutes, turning halfway through.
Brush with any remaining glaze during the final 3 minutes of cooking.
Continue cooking until the chicken is golden, the bacon is crisp, and the glaze has become sticky and caramelised.
Remove carefully and allow to rest for 1 minute.
Serve immediately while hot and festive.
