You’ll Need

For the Corn Ribs
4 large corn on the cob
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp cracked black pepper
Honey Butter Glaze
40g butter, melted
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp hot sauce
1 garlic clove, finely grated
½ tsp smoked paprika
To Finish
30g grated Parmesan
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lime wedges
Optional but Dangerous
Crispy bacon bits
Chilli flakes
Ranch dressing
Crumbled feta
Extra hot honey

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.

Carefully cut each corn cob lengthways into quarters to create corn ribs.

Toss the corn ribs with the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper until evenly coated.

Arrange the corn ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Air fry for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway, until the corn begins to curl and the edges become lightly charred.

While the corn cooks, whisk together the melted butter, honey, hot sauce, grated garlic and smoked paprika.

Transfer the cooked corn ribs into a large bowl and immediately pour over the honey butter glaze.

Toss until every rib is coated in the sticky glaze.

Sprinkle over the grated Parmesan and chopped parsley.

Serve immediately with lime wedges for squeezing over the top.

Lad Tip: Corn ribs naturally curl as they cook—that's exactly what you want. Those curled edges catch the honey butter beautifully, giving you sticky, smoky bites with crispy tips that taste like they came straight off an American backyard grill.
