You’ll Need

4 thick-cut pork chops
1 tbsp olive oil
500g baby potatoes, halved
1 small red onion, sliced

Pitmaster Seasoning
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp chilli flakes

BBQ Butter Finish
30g butter, melted
1 tsp wholegrain mustard
1 tsp honey

Optional But Dangerous
Corn on the cob
Apple slaw
BBQ sauce
Cold beer

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.

Toss the potatoes with half the olive oil and half the seasoning.

Place the potatoes into the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, coat the pork chops with the remaining olive oil and seasoning.

Add the sliced onion to the potatoes.

Place the pork chops into the basket alongside the potatoes.

Air fry for 12–15 minutes, turning the chops halfway through.

While everything cooks, mix together the melted butter, mustard, and honey.

During the final 3 minutes, brush the pork chops generously with the butter mixture.

Continue cooking until the chops are deeply golden and the potatoes are crisp.

Rest the pork chops for 3 minutes before serving.

Serve everything together in big loaded trays.

Lad Tip: Pork chops don't need cooking to death. Pull them as soon as they're cooked through and let them rest. Dry pork chops are usually caused by impatience disguised as enthusiasm.
