You’ll Need
500g cooked pulled pork
500g frozen thick-cut fries
100g grated mature cheddar
50g grated mozzarella
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
4 tbsp smoky BBQ sauce
1 tbsp crispy fried onions
To Finish
Spring onions, sliced
Extra BBQ sauce
Optional but Dangerous
Jalapeños
Garlic mayo
Bacon bits
Chilli flakes
Method
1 - Preheat your air fryer to 200°C. 2 - Cook the fries according to packet instructions, usually 16–20 minutes, shaking halfway through, until deeply golden and crisp. 3 - While the fries cook, place the pulled pork into a bowl. 4 - Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, and 2 tablespoons of the BBQ sauce. 5 - Mix thoroughly until the pork is fully coated. 6 - Once the fries are crisp, transfer them into a foil tray or heatproof dish. 7 - Scatter the pulled pork evenly over the fries. 8 - Sprinkle over the cheddar and mozzarella until everything looks slightly irresponsible. 9 - Drizzle over the remaining BBQ sauce. 10 - Return the tray to the air fryer at 180°C for 4–5 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and lightly golden around the edges. 11 - Finish with crispy onions, spring onions, and any dangerous extras you're using. Serve immediately while the cheese is still stretching and the fries are still fighting back underneath.
