Air-Fryer Cinnamon Roll Pinwheels preparation stage

You’ll Need

Ready-made cinnamon roll dough or croissant-style dough
Butter
Brown sugar
Ground cinnamon

Optional but Encouraged
Icing sugar
Simple icing or cream cheese drizzle

Method

1 - Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 3–5 minutes.

2 - Unroll the dough flat on a board.

3 - Spread a thin layer of softened butter over the surface.

4 - Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.

5 - Roll the dough up tightly from the long edge into a log.

6 - Slice into thick pinwheels, about two fingers wide.

7 - Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with baking paper.

8 - Place the pinwheels flat in the basket, leaving space between them.

9 - Air fry at 180°C for 8–10 minutes until puffed, golden, and cooked through.

10 - Remove carefully and let them cool slightly before handling. Serve warm.

Lad Tip: If the centres look soft, that’s good. Cinnamon rolls should be tender, not dry. If sugar leaks out and caramelises, eat that one first.
