You’ll Need

300g raw king prawns, peeled
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp chilli flakes
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Sea salt
Black pepper

Optional but Dangerous
Crusty bread
Aioli
Cold lager
Extra lemon wedges

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 190°C.

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Add the prawns and coat thoroughly until every prawn is covered in the garlic oil mixture.

Transfer to a foil tray or heatproof dish, making sure the garlic and oil sit evenly around the prawns.

Air fry at 190°C for 7–9 minutes until the prawns turn pink and lightly golden around the edges.

Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon and a little extra parsley.

Serve immediately with crusty bread for mopping up every drop of the garlic oil.

Lad Tip: According to Manuel, throwing away the garlic oil left in the tray is the quickest way to get yourself banned from a Spanish family restaurant. Use bread. Mop it up properly.
