Air-Fryer Crispy Caesar Chicken Wraps preparation stage

You’ll Need

600g chicken breast, cut into strips
80g plain flour
40g cornflour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
Oil spray
4 large tortilla wraps
1 romaine lettuce, shredded
50g grated parmesan

Caesar Dressing
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, finely grated
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp grated parmesan

Optional but Dangerous
Crispy bacon bits
Extra parmesan
Black pepper

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.

In a bowl mix together the flour, cornflour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Dip the chicken strips into the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.

Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.

Place the chicken strips into the basket in a single layer and spray the tops lightly with oil.

Air fry at 200°C for 12–14 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden, crisp, and cooked through.

Meanwhile mix together all the Caesar dressing ingredients.

Warm the wraps briefly if desired.

Toss the lettuce with half the dressing.

Fill the wraps with lettuce, crispy chicken, parmesan, and the remaining dressing.

Add bacon bits if using.

Roll tightly and serve immediately.

Lad Tip: The biggest mistake people make with Caesar wraps is drowning them in dressing. You want enough to coat everything, not enough to recreate a swimming pool. The chicken still deserves a chance to shine.
