Air-Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wing Trays preparation stage

You’ll Need

1kg chicken wings
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

Garlic Parmesan Coating
50g butter
4 cloves garlic, finely grated
60g grated parmesan
1 tsp dried parsley
½ tsp dried oregano

To Finish
Extra parmesan
Fresh parsley

Optional but Dangerous
Garlic mayo
Potato wedges
Cold lager

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.

Pat the wings dry thoroughly with kitchen paper.

Toss the wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Place into the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Air fry at 200°C for 22–25 minutes, turning halfway through, until deeply golden and crisp.

While the wings cook, melt the butter gently and stir through the garlic.

Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.

Place the cooked wings into a large bowl.

Pour over the garlic butter.

Add the parmesan, parsley, and oregano.

Toss thoroughly until every wing is coated.

Finish with extra parmesan before serving.

Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Lad Tip: Parmesan sticks best while the wings are piping hot. Wait too long and half of it ends up in the bottom of the bowl instead of where it belongs. On the chicken.
