Air-Fryer Marshmallow and Chocolate Flatbread Melts

Air-fryer marshmallow and chocolate flatbread melts from Sweet Munch, built for hot pastry, molten centres, sticky sugar and proper dessert chaos.

No structure. No dignity. Just hot sugar and melted chocolate doing what they do best. This is the dessert you make when it’s late, you’re tired, and you’ve already accepted that tomorrow can deal with the consequences.

Air-Fryer Marshmallow and Chocolate Flatbread Melts preparation stage

You’ll Need

Flatbreads or naan breads
Chocolate (milk, dark, or a mix)
Marshmallows

Optional but Encouraged
Butter
Chocolate spread
Crushed biscuits

Method

1 - Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 3–5 minutes.

2 - Lay the flatbread out flat. Lightly butter it if you’re using butter.

3 - Scatter chocolate pieces generously over the surface.

4 - Add marshmallows on top, spacing them out so they have room to puff.

5 - Place the flatbread into the air fryer basket. You may need to trim it to fit.

6 - Air fry at 180°C for 4–6 minutes until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows are puffed and lightly golden.

7 - Remove carefully — everything will be molten and unstable. Let it sit for 30 seconds before slicing or folding.

Lad Tip: Marshmallows go from perfect to burnt quickly. Watch them like a hawk. This is unreal folded in half and eaten like a dessert wrap. Add crushed biscuits on top for crunch if you want texture. Eat immediately. This does not travel or wait.
