Air-Fryer Nutella Stuffed French Toast Pockets

Air-fryer nutella stuffed french toast pockets from Sweet Munch, built for hot pastry, molten centres, sticky sugar and proper dessert chaos.

This one feels fancy but behaves filthy. Breakfast, dessert, or “I’ve lost control” food — it works every time.

You’ll Need

Thick sliced white bread or brioche
Nutella (or similar chocolate spread)
Eggs
Milk
Butter

Optional but Encouraged
Cinnamon sugar
Icing sugar
Ice cream

Method

1 - Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 3–5 minutes.

2 - Lay the bread slices flat and spread Nutella generously over one slice. Don’t go right to the edges.

3 - Place another slice on top and press lightly to seal.

4 - Cut the sandwich in half or into pockets, depending how thick your bread is.

5 - In a bowl, whisk eggs with a splash of milk until combined.

6 - Dip each pocket into the egg mixture, turning carefully so it’s coated but not soaked through.

7 - Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with baking paper.

8 - Place the French toast pockets into the basket with space between them.

9 - Air fry at 180°C for 6–8 minutes, turning once halfway, until golden and crisp on the outside.

10 - Remove and let them sit for a minute so the filling settles. Serve hot.

Lad Tip: Brioche makes these elite, but thick white bread still does the job. If Nutella leaks, don’t panic — that’s flavour caramelising.
