Air-Fryer Tandoori Fish Bites with Lime preparation stage

You’ll Need

500g white fish fillets, cut into bite-sized chunks
2 tbsp plain yoghurt
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Juice of half a lime

To Finish
Fresh coriander
Lime wedges
Sliced red chilli

Optional but Dangerous
Mint yoghurt dip
Extra chilli flakes
Warm naan bread

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.

Mix together the yoghurt, oil, garlic, ginger, smoked paprika, garam masala, turmeric, chilli powder, salt, black pepper and lime juice.

Coat the fish thoroughly in the marinade.

Leave for 10–15 minutes if you've got time.

Lightly spray the basket with oil and arrange fish in a single layer.

Air fry for 8–10 minutes, turning carefully halfway through.

For extra colour, blast for a final 1–2 minutes at 205°C.

Finish with coriander, chilli and plenty of lime wedges.

Lad Tip: Fish doesn't need bullying. The second it flakes easily and picks up those dark tandoori edges, it's done. Keep cooking after that and Mumbai starts looking very disappointed.
